Our open motto, "We Live For Each Other" is more than a string of meaningless words. It is our foundation, our objective, and our promise to one another. Each and every member of Alpha Delta Pi has the opportunity and mission of continuously making an effort to respect and love one another. This means appreciating the intelligence, creativity, goodness, and beauty in in ourselves and in the women who blur the lines between friends and genuine family. We recognize these qualities in our sisters who may not see it themselves, and they in turn remind us to see those qualities in ourselves.
Alpha Delta Pi, as the first sorority ever created, appreciates that life isn't about success in school or work. It's about coming together to live for something greater than ourselves and our ambitions. Waking up every day and asking how we can live for each other is a difficult and noble intention. It can be frustrating, daunting, and taxing, but it is the most rewarding thing we will ever do.

A Letter to PNMs
As I reflect on my collegiate experience, I feel so incredibly proud to call Alpha Delta Pi at the University of Florida my home. Alpha Delta Pi pushes me to grow into the woman, sister and leader I have always dreamed of being, while simultaneously accepting me for everything I am.
Going into college, I knew I wanted to participate in the recruitment process. Yet- in the days leading up to the first days of Panhellenic recruitment I found myself filled with nerves. Thinking back to the person I was, sitting in the O’Connell center, surrounded by women who would soon become the most instrumental people in my life, I realized the nerves came from a place of care. I cared about finding a place I could call home.
Growing up, I was surrounded by powerful and ambitious women, consistently raising the bar for everything I can accomplish in life. When I ran home to ADPi, I found passion, kindness and love in every member, effortlessly inspiring me to dream bigger and live louder.
The women in this chapter are nothing short of incredible and truly live our open motto, “We Live for Each Other.” They are sincere and selfless. They put others first, pouring relentlessly into the community and to each other. In the same way iron sharpens iron, the women of Alpha Delta Pi sharpen each other. The women in this chapter have shaped and continue to shape me into the person I am proud of today. I am incredibly grateful to call them not only my friends, but my sisters.
I am eternally thankful for this sisterhood that continually uplifts and grounds me throughout my college experience. Alpha Delta Pi is a place I am eager to share with everyone and I cannot wait to share our sisterhood with each and every one of you. I hope you find the kind of love, support and sisterhood I have found through the recruitment process.
