ACHIEVEMENTS
The Gamma Iota Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi strives for success in all pursuits within and beyond the borders of the University of Florida. Across the spectrum of academics, athletics, social activities, philanthropic volunteering, and involvement in organizations, our chapter as a whole and our sisters as individuals are dedicated to giving back to the community and representing Alpha Delta Pi to the best of our abilities. We believe in becoming well-rounded women who continue to inspire each other every day.
Scholarship
Just one example of how we encourage and promote scholarship, our house offers exclusive and quiet study rooms, as well as opportunities for our members to tutor one another and learn together. Here at Alpha Delta Pi, we celebrate academic success. We have various incentives to motivate our members to maintain their grades and to continue to prosper in their schoolwork. As some of our new members transition from high school to college courses, the resources provided by Alpha Delta Pi ensure that this change is effortless. No matter her major, class, or year in school, each and every sister in our chapter values her academic accomplishments.
Leadership
Alpha Delta Pi is something that you are, not something that you become, and we are a community that unites a diverse group of women with a variety of interests and talents. At our core, we are motivated by pure intentions and are devoted to service to others. Our sisters utilize their passions in order to contribute to and to strengthen not only our chapter but also the world around us. Highly encouraged to be involved and well-rounded, our sisters strive for success by joining and leading organizations and clubs on campus and within Gainesville. With the help of our Leadership Chair, our members receive the necessary information and leadership workshops to network effectively while finding their perfect place in the community and limitless opportunities to lead.
Awards
As a chapter and as individuals, Alpha Delta Pi has received many awards. Throughout the university and chapters across the nation, we have been recognized for our academic excellence, philanthropic contributions, and leadership roles. Additionally, Gamma Iota has received the distinguished honor of winning both the Panhellenic Chapter of the Year for at the Greek Awards and the Golden Lion Award for the past three years in a row. The Golden Lion Award is the highest national ADPi honor, and recognizes the chapter that excels in all areas, including recruitment, member retention, finance, leadership engagement, campus involvement, service, academics, and more.
Providing every member with a talented, high-achieving environment, Alpha Delta Pi possesses women who continuously aid and support one another through their successes. Embodying our open motto, “We Live For Each Other,” our sisters take on every obstacle together and believe in one another, even when we fail. We are beyond blessed and incredibly fortunate to have so many outstanding women under one roof.
