I can confidently say Kylie is someone who will be in my life for as long as I am here. She is without a doubt, my best friend in the whole world, the person I trust with my life,
and the person who makes me laugh harder than anyone else. I genuinely didn’t realize that a big / little relationship could be such a special one. One where your little is not just a label, but a true best friend. One where you genuinely cannot imagine your life without them.
Kylie has the biggest heart of anyone I know, and will make sure anyone and everyone in a room is seen and heard. She embodies the word kindness to her core, and would do absolutely anything for her friends and family. She is the most hard-working person I have ever met; in all aspects of life - school, friendships, work, and herself. We always joke that no matter how different we may seem from the surface, we couldn’t have a deeper and more special friendship.
Kylie, I couldn’t love you more if I tried. I am so thankful Anna Welch (your g-big and my big), introduced us and knew that you would be the perfect fit in our small, but beyond special fam. I will forever have your back and always be your biggest supporter!

I have never had a friend like Katie Garland. My number one supporter, my best friend, and the biggest joy in my life. I am so thankful that I can wake up everyday knowing Katie will always there for me.
When Katie’s big Anna had us get dinner together when I first joined ADPi, I had no idea our relationship would flourish into what it is today. Katie has always gone out of her way to make me feel loved, appreciated, and heard. When I first joined ADPi, she would text me everyday to make plans, constantly listened to my silly problems, and overall made me a better person. She taught me how to take a step back when things got crazy. She taught me how to love the people around me. She taught me that there is power in friendship.
Even though Katie and I might come across as different, deep down we’re one of the same. I aspire to be like her one day. She always has open arms for those around her. She does it all. She thrives in school, works, is involved, and yet she still goes out of her way to make sure me and everyone in her life is doing okay. I am the luckiest girl in the world to call Katie my big.
I hope I can make an impact like her one day. And I hope everyone has a Katie in their life. I would not have survived freshman year without my Katie. I love you more than the world, even though I might not express that very well or very often. I appreciate you for bearing with me through it all.
